Until June 2015, the Spanish participation in the 73 H2020 calls has resulted in 6,717 submitted proposals, 914 of which have been funded (13.6% success), acting as leaders in 101 (15.7% of the UE28) and obtaining a return of 553.3 million euros, the 5th UE28 country with 9.5% of the total.
Spanish companies are still the ones which attract more European resources, with 33% of the total, whilst universities get 23.4%. The National Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) is the entity with more number of funded projects: 71 projects (36 as a leader).
